Is MobLand season 2 happening? We have good news and bad news

This was all notably prior to any official confirmation by Paramount. 👀

Further adding fuel to the fire, the show’s lead Tom Hardy seems fairly confident that we’ll be seeing further MobLand series, with the actor explaining that there’s much more of a story to be told. In a recent interview he said “The plan is definitely to see more seasons. The question is: Does it become international?”

He added, “There are international elements to organised crime, which are touched on in season one and the control of drugs and ammunition and weapons and people and all kinds of things that go through Europe and from Africa through to South America, Pakistan and the variable commodities that move around Europe. There are families that are involved in each European country that are vying for power to have that status to be able to move these kind of commodities through and who polices that and how that fits into a world stage.”

This is all very encouraging stuff.

MobLand season 2 plot

As above, there’s no shortage of loose ends that need tying up after that action-packed finale. Namely, will Harry make it out alive? (We’re tentatively optimistic).

Who is set to step up among the Harrigans? What’s up next for Conrad? Would a potential MobLand season 2 build out more of Seraphina’s storyline?

Overall, there’s no shortage of conflict that needs to be resolved in a potential second season, and as Tom Hardy says, there’s plenty of scope to see MobLand season 2 go international, so it’s all to play for right now.

When will MobLand season 2 come out?

Given that we’ve yet to have official confirmation from Paramount of MobLand season 2, it sounds like we’ll be waiting a little while until we get any more intel on a potential MobLand season 2 release date.

The first season started production in November 2024 and wrapped March 2025 before premiering at the end of the same month, so if a potential MobLand season 2 were to follow a similar pattern then we could be blessed with a second season of the show as soon as 2026.
